The Abundant Life Journey for Windows
The same quiet place to bring whatever you are carrying — now on your computer.
A post card for however you feel, a devotional for every day of the year, a timer for quiet time, and a journal for the good things. It runs entirely on your own machine, with no account to make and nothing sent anywhere.
Coming soon — the Store listing goes live as soon as certification finishes.
What is inside
Everything the phone app has, laid out for a bigger screen and a quieter hour.
Post Cards
Twelve emotions, from sadness and fear to joy and awe. Choose the one that fits today and read Scripture written to meet it, with a reflection and a prayer.
A Daily Devotional
One for every day of the year — a passage, a reflection, and one thing to carry into the day.
Read Aloud
Have the devotional read to you in whichever voice you prefer, using the voices already installed on your computer.
Abide
A quiet-time timer with a verse to sit with, gentle ambient sound and hymns when you want them.
Joy Journal
Write down the moments that remind you God is near. Type an entry, or speak it.
Yours to Keep
Save any card or devotional to come back to. Three colour themes and three reading sizes.
Carry on where your phone left off
Read on the bus in the morning, pick up at your desk at night. The Abundant Life Journey moves your devotional day between devices without an account and without a server — the two devices never talk to each other, and nothing is sent to us.
1. Open Settings on the device you have been reading on
Under Carry on somewhere else it shows the day you are on, a short code such as LA-4D2-BJ8, and a square you can scan.
2. Take the code to the other device
Point its camera at the square, or type the six characters into the box on its own Settings screen. Six characters is short enough to read out over the phone.
3. Say yes
The other device shows you which day it is about to move to and waits for you to accept. Nothing changes until you do, and moving backwards is asked about just as carefully.
Only the devotional day travels. Your journal, your reflections, your saved cards and your settings stay exactly where they are, on the device that holds them.
Free, and quiet about it
No account, no adverts, no tracking, no subscription. Once it is installed it works without an internet connection.
Windows 10 version 1809 or later, 64-bit. Installs and updates through the Microsoft Store.
