Just a Camera!
More than a camera.
A fast, private camera with natural-looking beauty adjustments, sixteen filters and effects worth showing someone. Everything happens on your phone — no account, no adverts, and nothing uploaded.
Coming soon — Just a Camera! is in development for Android. The Google Play listing goes live when it is ready.
What is inside
A camera first, with everything else tucked out of the way until you want it.
Natural Beauty
Adjustable rather than fixed. Every slider starts at zero, stays subtle by default, and leaves skin texture where it is. Nothing about your skin needs fixing.
16 Filters
Natural, Soft Glow, Warm Morning, Cool Breeze, Golden Hour, Rose, Fresh, Clear, Soft Portrait, Studio, Sunshine, Vintage, Black and White, High Contrast, Film and Night Portrait — each with its own strength slider.
Fun Effects
Oversized glasses, heart eyes, a cartoon moustache, a crown, a party hat, a pirate patch and more, following your face as you move.
Animal Effects
Cat, dog, bunny, fox, bear, lion, panda, frog, monkey and reindeer. Silly on purpose, and they work on more than one face at a time.
New Backgrounds
Blur what is behind you, or replace it with a colour, a gradient or a photo of your own. Adjust how strongly it applies until it looks right.
Your Original, Untouched
Editing never overwrites the photo you took. Save Copy writes a new file, and press and hold at any point to compare with the original.
Private. Simple. Yours.
The privacy is not a setting you have to find. It is how the app is built.
Everything happens on your phone
Filters, beauty adjustments, face effects and background changes are all done by your phone’s own processor. There is no server, and the app has no permission to reach one.
Face landmarks are temporary
To place a pair of ears the app works out where the eyes and nose are in the current frame. Those coordinates live for that one frame and are then gone. No face template, faceprint or biometric profile is ever created or stored.
Nothing is uploaded
Your photos are never sent anywhere, and there is no account to make. A picture reaches your gallery when you save it, and reaches anyone else only when you share it yourself.
The app asks for one permission — the camera — and only when you first open the camera screen. It never asks for your photo library, your location or your microphone.
Simple, fair pricing
Just a Camera! is free for 30 days — the camera, all sixteen filters and every effect. After that it keeps working, and saving photos is unlocked with a one-time $4.99 purchase. No subscription, no surprise charges, and no ads.
$4.99
One-time — unlocks saving after your 30-day free trial.
